As Director of Audit, Greg is responsible for overseeing all commercial audits and state and local tax projects. He also keeps pace with technological advances to ensure that RSI maintains its position at the forefront of its industry.
Greg co-founded RSI in 2001 after more than a decade of experience in recovery auditing with several organizations, including TOTL Recovery Group. He enjoys learning the intricate jargons and inner workings of different businesses and views each client’s payments as if they were his own.
“The success we’ve been able to achieve for our clients comes, in part, from putting ourselves in their shoes,” he said.
His diverse commercial experience includes clients in chemicals, oil & gas, paper, clothing, entertainment, sports, publishing and transportation, just to name a few.
“There is no question but that software has aided in the productivity and efficiency of recovery audits,” said Greg. “However, there are simply too many overpayment errors that cannot be identified using software. Any comprehensive audit will also include a manual review. The manual audit is a time-intensive process that requires expertise above and beyond being able to read reports generated by audit software.”

The amount of time required to conduct a comprehensive A/P audit with manual and electronic reviews depends on a number of factors—the most important is the size of the client and scope of the audit. Greg and his audit personnel are no strangers to logging long hours to deliver results beyond their clients’ expectations. ”Because the ‘devil’s in the details,’ our clients depend on us to identify even the smallest of items. That’s what distinguishes an RSI recovery audit from any other audit.”
Greg graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas, with a B.B.A. in Finance, in addition to completing a pre-med curriculum. Greg enjoys the outdoors with his family and is an avid fisherman. |
